Ukrainian ex-prime minister Tymoshenko accused of bribing lawmakers

Investigators claim that recordings show offers of $10,000 monthly payments to three lawmakers for their votes, with the cash allegedly belonging to Tymoshenko. She has denied the allegations, labeling them as political persecution, and warned that corruption could severely impact Ukraine’s international image and efforts in the ongoing war. Tymoshenko is expected to appear before Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court following the investigation.
