Firefighters take 1,000 calls during Bonfire Night attacks

Firefighters in Glasgow responded to over 1,000 calls on Bonfire Night, facing attacks with missiles and fireworks, leading to six incidents of crews being targeted. Police officers were also attacked in Edinburgh and Glasgow, with control zones banning fireworks in some areas until November 10th. Despite a decrease in serious disorder compared to last year, authorities are actively working to identify and prosecute those responsible for the attacks on emergency services during the festivities.
