After 7-year delay, Bengaluru Metro’s 3-km Green line set to open tomorrow  | Bangalore News

The Namma Metro Green Line extension from Nagasandra to Madavara, opening on November 7, aims to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion on Tumkur Road with three new stations serving 44,000 passengers daily. Despite delays, the project cost Rs 1,168 crore and includes improved facilities like pedestrian bridges and underpasses. This final addition to Phase-1 expands Bengaluru’s Metro network to 76.95 kilometres, providing a 30% reduction in travel time and direct access to key destinations like the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre.
