EMPD arrests man for dealing in illicit substances

EMPD and Community Liaison Unit officers in Kwa-Thema arrested a 37-year-old man for dealing in illegal substances, seizing 13 ziplock packets and 27 small newspaper-wrapped packages of dagga with a street value of R330 and R380. The suspect was apprehended at a residence on Magiya Street and will face charges in court soon. The operation was prompted by information about illicit substance sales in the community, leading to the successful confiscation of the drugs and cash.
