Eight Naxals planning attack on security forces held in Chhattisgarh

In Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, eight lower-rung Naxalites were arrested by security personnel during an anti-Naxal operation, where explosives were seized from them as they were planning to target security forces by planting an IED between Usoor and Tekmetla. The arrested cadres, including Joga Madvi and Deva Sodhi, were found with three tiffin bombs and other materials. This incident adds to the ongoing crackdown on Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, with recent encounters resulting in the death of five insurgents and injuries to two security personnel, bringing the total Naxalites killed this year to 197.
