Driver found guilty of murder in London West End incident

A Mercedes driver, Anthony Gilheaney, was convicted of murder for a Christmas Day rampage in London that resulted in the death of 25-year-old pedestrian Aidan Chapman and injuries to four others. Gilheaney, who had no driving license, intentionally struck pedestrians while shouting racial abuse, and ultimately admitted to manslaughter but denied murder. The jury found him guilty of murder, attempted murder, and wounding with intent. Chapman’s family expressed their profound grief, stating he had taken their only son from them.
