A male driver of a pickup truck sped down Bourbon Street in New Orleans, firing on police officers before stopping and opening fire on responding officers, resulting in his death. The incident left at least 10 dead and over 30 injured, with two officers in stable condition. The FBI is investigating the incident as an act of terrorism, with President Biden and President-elect Trump offering support to the city and law enforcement agencies involved.
