Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the Zaporizhzhia power plant, with the White House suggesting American ownership could provide the best protection and support for Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Despite previous agreements and discussions on US access to Ukraine’s resources, the deal has not been signed, as Russia demands an end to foreign military support for Ukraine, which the UK rejects.
