President-elect Donald Trump selected Kevin Hassett to lead the National Economic Council, where he will play a crucial role in shaping administration policies on trade, taxes, and deregulation. Hassett previously served as the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers during Trump’s first administration and worked closely with Jared Kushner on immigration issues. Trump also appointed attorney Jamieson Greer as the U.S. Trade Representative, completing his economic team as he prepares to take office on January 20.
