DMK’s Raja writes to waqf panel chief to defer JPC meetings proposed on Jan 24, 25

In his letter to Pal, Raja requested that the proposed sittings of the JPC on 24th and 25th be postponed to 30th and 31st after the presidential address, as decided at the Lucknow sitting. He emphasized that failing to do so would undermine the purpose of the JPC and raise concerns about the Constitution’s secular fabric and due process. Raja urged for the postponement to maintain transparency and uphold the integrity of the JPC proceedings.
