Disney has announced Josh D’Amaro as the successor to outgoing CEO Bob Iger, effective March, following a unanimous board decision. D’Amaro, who has been with Disney for 28 years and currently chairs Disney Experiences, replaces Iger, who returned in 2022 after Bob Chapek’s brief tenure. Iger’s leadership saw significant developments, including the launch of Disney+ and the acquisition of 20th Century Fox. He will remain a board member and senior advisor until his retirement at the end of the year.
