India and France have identified digital health, anti-microbial resistance, and exchange of health professionals as main priorities for bilateral cooperation in 2025, according to a joint statement issued during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Paris. Both leaders also emphasized enhancing trade and investment ties, deepening engagement in the Indo-Pacific, and fostering cooperation between their health ministries. Additionally, they inaugurated India’s Consulate General in Marseille, visited the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor facility, and announced the launch of a regional edition of the Raisina Dialogue focusing on Mediterranean issues in 2025.
