A primary school in Auckland’s Devonport, Stanley Bay School, incurred $33,000 in legal fees during an employment dispute with former principal Emma Tolmie. She resigned on December 15, shortly after the complaints were revealed by the Herald. Tolmie had not been at the school since the board received the teachers’ letter.
