Following the deadly plane crash at Regan National Airport in D.C., recovery crews are working aggressively to salvage the wreckage and retrieve victims’ remains. Barges are set to aid in the operation, with at least 40 bodies recovered from the Potomac River. Investigations suggest that the Army Black Hawk helicopter involved was flying higher than recommended, lacking crucial technology, and failed to comply with air traffic control instructions, leading to the tragic midair collision that claimed 67 lives.
