Danny Ramirez Not Returning for THE LAST OF US Season 3

HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us will see a recast for the character Manny Alvarez, originally played by Danny Ramirez, who is exiting the series due to scheduling conflicts. Season 3 will continue to explore the story from Abby’s perspective, with showrunner Craig Mazin hinting at unresolved mysteries and character arcs. Additionally, co-creator Neil Druckmann will step back from day-to-day creative duties but remain an executive producer. Ramirez will next appear in Avengers: Doomsday as Joaquin Torres.
