MPs may soon vote on a proposal from the Liberal Democrats to mandate that at least 10 Premier League games, along with key cup finals, are available on free-to-air television each season. This amendment is part of the ongoing Football Governance Bill, which aims to establish an independent regulator for overseeing England’s top five football divisions.
