Summary
Comedian Andrew Lawrence faced backlash and had his Essex show canceled after making a ‘horrific’ joke about the recent Liverpool parade crash that injured 79 people, including children. His comment, deemed offensive by many, prompted criticism from organizations like the Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance and actor Barry Sloane. While Lawrence expressed disappointment over the cancellation, he indicated plans to reschedule the performance at a different venue, as the incident continues to affect the community, with several individuals still hospitalized.
