Chris McCausland says Scope Awards show how disabled community ‘really are capable of so much more than others might think’

At the 2025 Scope Awards, Chris McCausland, winner of the Celebrity Role Model award, emphasized the capabilities of the disabled community, stating, “there really are no limits to what we can do.” The awards, hosted by actor Adam Pearson at the Kia Oval, recognized various individuals and groups, including Inkfire, which won the inclusive workplace award, and Tailo, awarded accessible product of the year. Other notable winners included Frances Ryan for journalism and Stephanie-Roxanne Blanco, the Purple Pioneer, for her work supporting those with Functional Neurological Disorders.
