Choice has tested over 40 toilet paper brands to determine the best options available in supermarkets. The top performer is Quilton’s 4 Ply Softness Gold, rated 78 percent and priced at 69 cents per 100 sheets. Close contenders include Quilton’s Shea Butter in Gold 4 Ply and Woolworths’ Vevelle Luxury Soft Double Length, both also rated 77 percent but at a lower cost of 29 cents per 100 sheets. Kleenex’s products were rated the lowest, scoring just 53 percent.
