Iranian women’s football team forcibly removed from bus after match

The Australian Federal Police monitored the arrival amid concerns about the players’ safety, following threats from Iranian state media. Five players have since been granted humanitarian visas after escaping their hotel, with Brisbane Roar FC offering them a place to train and integrate into the local community.
