On a DFDS Transmanche ferry traveling from Dieppe to Newhaven, parents were horrified when an adult film was mistakenly broadcast in the lounge, prompting children to scream and parents to cover their eyes. The incident occurred during a technical delay, causing car passengers to be sent back to France, and was exacerbated when the crew unknowingly switched from the Formula One broadcast to explicit content. DFDS has since apologized and removed the channel from the ship’s available stations to prevent future occurrences.
