Chance Perdomo dies in motorcycle crash at 27

Actor Chance Perdomo, known for his roles in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and “Gen V,” has passed away at the age of 27 after a motorcycle accident.


“With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Chance Perdomo due to a motorcycle accident,” stated a publicist on Saturday.


The statement confirmed that Perdomo was the only one involved in the crash, but did not provide any further details on the incident.


Perdomo portrayed Andre Anderson in the first season of “Gen V,” a spin-off of “The Boys” on Amazon Prime. The show depicts a world where superheroes are celebrities and often behave poorly. Perdomo’s character had the ability to manipulate metal and was a student at Godolkin University.


Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, the production companies behind “Gen V,” expressed their devastation over Perdomo’s passing.


Perdomo’s role as Ambrose Spellman in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” was one of his most well-known. The show, created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, took a darker approach to the Archie Comics characters and ended in 2020.


Aguirre-Sacasa paid tribute to Perdomo on Instagram, sharing photos from their time working together.


Chance Perdomo, who was of Black and Latino descent, was born in Los Angeles and raised in England. He spoke about his personal connection to his character Ambrose in an interview in 2018.


Perdomo’s passion for acting was evident in his work, and he will be remembered for his talent and warmth by those who knew him.
