Kevin Garnett doesn't think so.Stranger Things than being LeBron James | Caleb McLaughlin\'s Ultimate Sports FantasyDuring a discussion with his friend Paul Pierce on KG Certified, the Hall of Famer implied that LeBron might be using steroids instead of attributing Bronny's inability to score against his father to factors like age, size, or experience. “His dad might be on steroids,” Garnett commented. While this comment may have been made in passing, it's not the first time the topic of LeBron and performance-enhancing drugs has been raised. It's unusual for such claims to surface in this context, though. KG: Can Bronny get a bucket on Bron? Paul Pierce: Yeah for sure KG: You seen his dad? his dad on that Balco, he on that new juice…Throughout his 21-year NBA career, LeBron James has never failed a drug test. Erling Haaland scores five as Manchester City destroy Luton in FA Cup

City’s top scorer made it 27 for the season despite having missed almost two months with a foot injury, driving his team on to a ruthless 6-2 victory, though the win owed as much to the excellent Kevin De Bruyne, architect of four of his teammate’s goals. Mateo Kovacic also scored with a worthy strike of his own late on after Jordan Clark had netted either side of the interval to haul Luton from three down to within a single goal. In truth, though, they never really got close to City. Pep Guardiola’s side were irresistible in the first half, ripping through Luton from all angles with De Bruyne and Haaland at their electric best. It took under three minutes to make their breakthrough. Manuel Akanji brought it out of defence and fed Matheus Nunes ahead of him on the left. Nunes stood up Amari’i Bell and...

Frenkie de Jong’s potential destinations

\"Many things come out that are not true, it is irritating me.\" The typically mellow Frenkie de Jong took on an air of defiance as he faced the media ahead of Barcelona\'s Champions League round of 16 first leg draw with Napoli. The Dutchman has never been too far away from transfer rumour mills since he switched Amsterdam for Catalonia in 2019 given the club\'s dire financial situation, although recent links - which thrust De Jong\'s reported salary into prominence - have gotten the midfielder\'s back up. With De Jong, who only recently became a father, content in Barcelona and sporting director Deco confirming the club\'s intentions to keep the 26-year-old this summer, an exit does currently appear unlikely. However, Barca\'s financial issues mean De Jong\'s sale can't definitively be ruled out. The Dutch star would have plenty of suitors, and here are some potential candidates for his signature if he were to become available. Could De Jong become a key part of Ange Postecoglou's project? / Julian Finney/GettyImages While Ange Postecoglou has been able to sweet talk many into signing for Tottenham since he arrived in north London last summer, it'd take a whole lot more than mere words...

NFC combine preview: Position group to watch for each team

The annual NFL Scouting Combine has begun in Indianapolis. Live drills begin Thursday with defensive linemen and linebackers, followed by drills Friday for defensive backs and tight ends, Saturday for quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs and Sunday for offensive linemen. As determined by Yardbarker NFL writers, here are the position groups each team in the NFC should be focused on most. NFC East DALLAS COWBOYS | Offensive line | With starting center Tyler Biadasz and left tackle Tyron Smith becoming free agents, the team must reinforce the offensive line. Washington tackle Troy Fautanu — the Morris Trophy winner as the Pac-12's best offensive lineman in 2023 -— can play all five line positions, but another versatile player (BYU’s Kingsley Suamataia, perhaps) could catch Dallas' eye during O-line drills Sunday. Jake Knapp recovered from blowing a four-shot lead to hold off Sami Valimaki and secure his first PGA Tour title with a two-shot win in the Mexico Open at Vidanta. "Didn't necessarily have my best stuff today, that's for sure," Knapp told Golf Channel. "Knew it was nerve-wracking, knew it was going to be tough. It would have been nice to hit driver better and hit it a little bit better, but was super pumped on how I played in the finishing stretch." Image: Knapp was greeted by his girlfriend Makena White on the 18th green after completing his victory Knapp took a four-shot lead into the final day but gave the chasing pack hope when he bogeyed the first and found water off the third tee on his way to another dropped shot, allowing Valimaki...
