Canadian Prime Minister Carney plans to visit Tumbler Ridge, BC, after 18-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar killed her mother, stepbrother, a teacher, and 5 students before dying by suicide. Flags will be flown at half-staff for seven days, and an official day of mourning was observed in British Columbia. Police are still investigating the motive behind the mass shooting, which left nine dead in the small town. Flowers and memorials have been left in honor of the victims, as the community mourns the tragic event.
