US sides with Russia in UN resolutions on Ukraine

The Security Council resolution passed with the UK and France abstaining after failed attempts to amend the wording, highlighting the Trump administration’s shift in stance on the war and strained relations with European allies over Ukraine. The US resolution at the UNGA was also passed, with the US voting against the European resolution, leading to 65 abstentions and criticism from Ukraine for not condemning aggression.
