Zambian ex-president’s family settle funeral row with government

Funeral arrangements for Zambia’s former president Edgar Lungu, who died in South Africa, have been finalized after negotiations with his family and the government. His body will be flown to Lusaka for a state funeral presided over by current President Hakainde Hichilema, despite Lungu’s prior wishes, with public mourning set to occur before his burial next Monday.
