A coroner is seeking full reports and eyewitness statements before conducting a final inquest into the death of former One Direction star Liam Payne, who died at 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina in October 2024. Senior coroner Crispin Butler informed Buckinghamshire Coroner’s Court of ongoing investigations into the circumstances of his death. The inquest has been adjourned until a pre-inquest review on 7 May 2026.
