Brad Gushue concluded his illustrious curling career at the Brier, where he was celebrated by fans and competitors alike. His longtime rival, Brad Jacobs, praised Gushue as the greatest of all time, noting his impact on the sport. Gushue, who holds the record for the most Brier titles with six, also won Olympic gold in 2006 and bronze in 2022. As he steps away from competitive curling, Gushue hopes to inspire continued growth of the sport in Newfoundland and Labrador.
