Authorities in Atlanta prevented a potential tragedy when they arrested Billy Cagle, 49, who was reported by his family for planning to attack Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with an AR-15 assault rifle and 27 rounds of ammunition. Police detained him shortly after he entered the airport, where he displayed concerning behavior, and are investigating his motives amid indications of mental health challenges.
