IDF conducts strikes, kills leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad

The IDF confirmed the killing of Abu Hamza Rami, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander in Lebanon, during a strike in Beirut on Monday. Rami was allegedly responsible for orchestrating numerous terrorist attacks against Israeli military personnel and civilians. The Israeli military stated that the operation severely impaired the PIJ’s capacity to conduct further attacks. This strike followed an escalation of violence, including rockets fired from Hezbollah into northern Israel.
