HRANA, a US-based Iranian rights group, reported that hundreds of protesters’ bodies, estimated at around 250, have been found at the Kahrizak forensic medicine center near Tehran. Additional footage revealed numerous body bags outside the facility. While HRANA confirmed 544 deaths amid ongoing protests, total casualties may exceed 2,000, with over 10,681 arrested. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed shock at the Iranian regime’s violent response and encouraged intensified actions against it.
