Army rejects social media post’s claims that China hacked its aircraft

The Indian Army has refuted claims of one of its Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) being “hacked” by the Chinese side, dismissing the social media post as “completely baseless and factually incorrect”. The Army emphasized its commitment to the security and operational integrity of its assets, urging media and social media users to avoid sharing unverified and misleading content to prevent unnecessary alarm and misinformation. This response follows allegations that an RPA had entered Chinese territory in the eastern theatre, which the Army has clarified as untrue.
