A crane collapse in Samut Sakhon province, Thailand, resulted in the deaths of two individuals following a similar incident the day before in Nakhon Ratchasima province that killed 32. The same construction firm, Italian-Thai Development, was involved in both accidents, with the latest occurring during the construction of an elevated highway. The Rama II Expressway, where the incident took place, has been the site of several deadly accidents, with the crane falling onto the road below causing destruction. The incidents have raised concerns about safety in construction projects in Thailand, prompting a full investigation by the Transport Minister.
