American Airlines is revising its financial outlook after underestimating travel demand before the summer peak, CEO Robert Isom confirmed.
The carrier anticipates a 5% to 6% decrease in total revenue per available seat mile, compared to the previously projected 1% to 3% decline.
This adjustment is attributed to increased domestic competition and a decrease in corporate market share.
