KING’S BIRTHDAY 2025 HONOURS LIST AT A GLANCE
In 2025, 830 Australians were recognized in the King’s Birthday Honours, with 581 awards in the general division of the Order of Australia, including 14 Companions (AC), 31 Officers (AO), 123 Members (AM), and 413 Medals (OAM), alongside 36 military awards and 149 meritorious awards. Notable honorees include former Prime Minister Scott Morrison, filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, and author John Coetzee. Approximately 30 percent more individuals received recognition compared to the 2025 Australia Day Honours List, with women comprising about 35 percent of the recipients.
