One of the London Eye’s capsules is currently missing due to ongoing renovations aimed at upgrading all 32 pods with new technology and safety features, following their first removal in over a decade. The capsule was transported along the River Thames, leaving a temporary metal cage in its place to maintain balance. This renovation, expected to be completed by 2029, is part of the attraction’s 25th-anniversary celebration. Despite the changes, the London Eye will remain operational for visitors.
