Former USPS supervisor Joivian Tjuana Hayes from Compton pleaded guilty to stealing over $300,000 worth of checks, gold, and collectible currency while on the job. She admitted to depositing stolen checks in her bank account, forging payees’ names, and also taking postal money orders. Surveillance footage shows her depositing checks at ATMs in Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, and Compton, wearing a USPS logo shirt. She faces up to 20 years in federal prison and was found with stolen gold coins and currency during a search of her home by federal agents.
