Drugs, homelessness among top challenges for Windsor police: survey

Residents in Windsor and Amherstburg believe that drug use and homelessness are the biggest challenges facing the police service in the coming years, according to the Windsor Police Service 2024 Community Survey. While the majority of residents have a positive perception of the police, concerns over crime rates and priorities for police focus differ between the two communities. The survey, which gathered input from nearly 1,000 residents, aims to provide an overview of community perception and highlight key trends and challenges in policing and community safety.
