WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are both coming off strong performances in the Super Tuesday contests and are now turning their focus to Georgia. They will be campaigning for votes in Tuesday’s presidential primary in a state that will have a significant impact on their fates in November.

For Trump, the day holds added importance as voters in Georgia and three other states could potentially give him enough delegates to secure the Republican nomination for president.

While the Georgia primary will be largely uneventful, with Trump’s main rival Nikki Haley suspending her campaign and Biden facing fewer challengers, the state still remains a crucial battleground. Both candidates will be holding events in Georgia on Saturday, with Biden in Atlanta and Trump in Rome.

Georgia played a pivotal role in the 2020 election, with Biden narrowly winning the state over Trump. The ongoing legal battles and controversies surrounding the election results continue to make Georgia a key state to watch.

Georgia is the biggest delegate prize among the contests happening on Tuesday, with both Biden and Trump nearing the delegate count needed to secure their party’s nominations. Tuesday could be a milestone day for Trump, while Biden is looking towards March 19 for a possible clinching of the nomination.

Here’s a glimpse of what to expect on election night:

Georgia has 108 pledged Democratic delegates and 59 Republican delegates at stake, with allocation rules varying for each party.
