‘Not a good day’ – Green leader Roderic O’Gorman admits that the party faces losing three-quarters of their seats

The Green Party is expected to only have three seats after the votes are fully counted, down from 12. Surviving candidates include Mr O’Gorman, Ossian Smyth, and Catherine Martin. Mr O’Gorman expressed disappointment at the results, acknowledging the likelihood of losing seats and recognizing the challenges of being a smaller party in Government despite their accomplishments in addressing climate change and supporting families.
