A runaway kangaroo named Sheila caused a major disturbance in Macon County, Alabama, leading to a crash between two vehicles on Interstate 85. The incident occurred around 11:50 am, prompting authorities to close the interstate in both directions for safety and to capture the kangaroo, which was tranquilized by its owner, Patrick Starr. Fortunately, Sheila was unharmed, and the roadway was reopened later that day, with Sheriff Andre Brunson noting the unusual nature of the event, stating, ‘We had a bear a few years ago, but never a kangaroo.’
