North & South, a long-standing New Zealand current affairs magazine, has announced it will temporarily cease printing to focus on developing a digital presence due to flat advertising sales and pressure from advertisers. Launched in 1986, the magazine was later acquired by different owners and most recently sold to School Road Publishing. Sales have reportedly been challenging, leading to the decision to prioritize digital growth for the brand with plans to return to print in early 2025.
