Chamroeun Kor, an architectural designer, has been identified after he withdrew his appeal for permanent name suppression. The Hamilton resident was sentenced to six months of home detention after pleading guilty to two charges of money laundering related to a scheme that defrauded New Zealand investors of $235,000 in early 2023. His initial name suppression was lifted following his unsuccessful appeal against the sentence.
