Unstoppable Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar won the men’s road race title at the world championships in Zurich with a stunning solo attack, finishing 34 seconds ahead of his closest competitor after taking off with 100km left in the 273-km race. Pogacar, who already holds the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France titles this year, became only the third man ever to achieve the cycling hat-trick in a single season, adding the rainbow jersey to his collection. The 26-year-old was able to comfortably cruise the final 500 meters to the finish line, capping off an impressive season of victories.

SOTA parent portal taken down in response to systems vulnerability targeted by global cyberattacks
SINGAPORE: The School of the Arts (SOTA) has temporarily taken down its parent portal due to a global cyberattack targeting school-managed systems, which began around July 18. The school is implementing an immediate patching process for affected servers and has informed parents it will restore service as soon as possible, while the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore has issued warnings regarding vulnerabilities in Microsoft SharePoint.
