Toronto police are investigating a firearm discharge incident that occurred at the U.S. Consulate on University Avenue early Tuesday morning. The police reported no injuries and have closed University Avenue southbound from Armoury Street to Queen Street for the investigation. This incident follows a series of recent attacks, including three synagogues targeted in gunfire and an Iranian-owned boxing gym hit in Thornhill, as tensions escalate following the U.S.-Israel operation against Iran.
