Turkish authorities conducted nationwide detentions targeting alleged members of the Gülen movement, resulting in the arrest of 88 suspects across two investigations. In Kayseri, 70 suspects were detained after an eight-month investigation, with simultaneous raids in Kayseri, Istanbul, Adana, and Mersin. Additionally, 18 suspects, including 16 public officials, were arrested in a separate operation in eight provinces. The Gülen movement is blamed for the 2016 coup attempt, which resulted in numerous casualties.
