The UN Development Program (UNDP) reported that clearing rubble in Gaza could take seven years, with 90% of residents living in hazardous conditions. UNDP chief Alexander De Croo highlighted the dire humanitarian situation, noting that only 0.5% of the debris has been removed. He emphasized the need for increased access to materials and support for housing and private sector recovery. Since a ceasefire began on October 10, Israeli forces have allegedly violated it, resulting in further casualties.
