Canadian billionaire Frank Stronach, 93, is on trial in Toronto facing 12 charges of sexual offences, including historical allegations of rape and sexual assault spanning from 1977 to 1990. Stronach, founder of Magna International, has denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty, with his trial set for four weeks before a judge alone. Additionally, he faces a separate trial in Newmarket later this year for six more charges and a civil lawsuit from a former intern. The women’s identities are protected under a publication ban, and none of the allegations have been proven in court.
