FIRST ON FOX:

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the arrest of several “worst of the worst” criminal illegal immigrants during Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota, including a man with 24 criminal convictions. DHS criticized local leaders, including Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, for not cooperating with federal immigration enforcement, claiming their policies lead to the release of dangerous individuals back into communities. The operation targeted offenders with serious criminal histories, resulting in arrests of individuals from various countries, including those convicted of violent crimes and drug trafficking. DHS urged local leaders to honor ICE detainers for over 1,360 violent criminals currently in custody to enhance public safety.
