At least 82 children have been killed in Gaza since a ceasefire began on October 10, according to UNICEF, which described the violence as a “staggering pattern.” Since the truce, Gaza’s media office reported over 386 fatalities and 980 injuries from Israeli fire, while the UN human rights office noted more than 350 attacks, resulting in 121 Palestinian deaths, including children. Despite the ceasefire, living conditions in Gaza remain dire due to ongoing Israeli restrictions on aid. Since October 2023, Israel has reportedly killed over 70,000 people, primarily women and children.
